So this year I moved to Australia and killed my writing mojo, then got it back like whoa and went on a 'post every day' thing for
schmoop_bingo, and then went travelling and killed it again so... mad, mad year. Have a meme!
Statistics taken from fanfiction.net, becaue I only started using LiveJournal a couple of months ago for real.
Tally:
Oneshots: 34
Completed stories: 5
Going at the start of the year, still going at the end: 1 - 15 chapters
Started but not finished: 3 - 2, 3 and 8 chapters
Total: 67 chapters/oneshots
Wordcount: 217041 - but that includes author's notes. Probably still over 200,000 though.
My favorite story this year (of my own): The Schmoop 'verse. It's not one story, but it's a long, rambling series, and I absolutely love it. Yes, it's silly at times and overly fluffy and OOC, but... this is me not caring.
My best story this year: Loving Leash was an angsty, twisted thing, but turned out really really well, I think.
Story most underappreciated by the universe, in my opinion: My Reel_TW story. It's only the Fellowship of the Ring so far, but it's about 30,000 words long and not had many hits - 294 on fanfiction.net actually. I've not posted it on LiveJournal yet, though.
Most fun story: Seize the Day is part of the Schmoop 'verse, but it's a series of spontaneous dates, which were just awesome fun to write.
Most sexy story: Learning to Love is a story of first time sex for Jack, after he loses his memories due to being buried alive. I don't write much smut because I post it on fanfiction.net, but this one didn't get crossposted.
The only other properly smutty one is Erotic Feeding, which does exactly what it says on the tin with added mpreg.
Story with single sexiest moment: My sexy moments are usually fades to black. The best ones are in Not as Planned, which includes both the short stories above.
Story with single sweetest moment: Oh god, did I mention that I did Schmoop_bingo? So much sugar! So probably the Schmoop 'verse.
Most unintentionally *telling* story: Probably Light Blindness. It's just dark and empty and sad, and I'm not sure what it says about me, but it definitely says a lot.
"Holy crap, that's *wrong*, even for you" story: Alien Porn, Discussion Thereof. I really have no idea.
Hardest story to write: Continuity Error. Oh dear. This one is still going, slowly, because every chapter is a whole episode story, and they are really hard work.
Easiest story to write: The Schmoop 'verse is really easy because it's all prompted, and I do love filling the prompts.
Easiest character to write: Ianto. When I concentrate it can be really easy to get his voice.
Hardest character to write: Ianto. If I'm not concentrating then it can be really easy to make him sound like me.
Favorite character to write: The tenth Doctor. He's just mad. I don't really like him as a character, but I do love writing him.
This year's theme and the story that demonstrates it most: Rachel is fluffy and lonely. Story: All of them.
I've done 43 stories this year, and I've not finished crossposting them all to LiveJournal yet, so, um, no roundup by month.
But...
If you have any questions that I've not answered, please ask them :D
