15 – Warnings – What do you feel it most important to warn for, and what's the strangest thing you've warned for in a fic?


I prefer to list the contents and highlight anything I think could be particularly triggering. Because I'm triggered by odd things (hypothermia and things related to it) I'm very conscious of triggers that don't get noticed all the time. I don't want to trigger someone out because I have someone being stung by a wasp any more than I want to trigger someone over noncon.

Mostly, though, I write the fluffiest fluff that ever did fluff, and you're more likely to rot your teeth than be triggered.

Yes indeed but it should be noted that your fluff is some of the BEST fluff around, diabeties rating notwithstanding.
Maybe we should invent a fluff rating, similar to a Thrace warning systmn...

3. Brush teeth after reading
5. Diabetic coma

Interesting trigger that you have. I have some things that are squicks, rather than triggers, but I don't expect people to always warn for them if they are my odd quirks, however I have found it really difficult when people write sudden and extreme violence without warning.

I have no clue where it comes from, just that it's enough to make me feel shaky and faint from an otherwise fluffy oneshot. The worst was when I was in an assembly that triggered me and I nearly passed out in the back of the room because I couldn't get out.
