One of the projects I have been working on lately is a Big Bang story which crosses Sherlock with Torchwood. I'm really excited about this story, especially as I have been claimed by not one but three awesome artists.

When a well-respected and important member of Cardiff's alien population is found dead, Torchwood have to call in discrete help to solve the case. It's fortunate that Ianto Jones shared a flat, for a while, with London's top consulting detective.

And that's all you're getting for now. Murhar.

WTF? Still? Jeez, you should be asking for the licence fee back, in complaint. I mean, really, it's been a year! Or nearly. Okay, six months.

Edit: I suggest you buy the damn DVD's and tell TVNZ to do something unspeakable or unprintable. They're worth having, anyway.

there's not a lot of point in telling TVNZ anything. And I probably will buy the DVDs. That's what I did for CoE. Just got them and heard it was going to be shown here.
I wonder how long it will take before we get the new TW4?
I've not seen White Collar, Firefly, and several other things that fandom gets excited about.

I watched White Collar before we moved to Australia - so, two years ago now? Haven't watched it since. No, hang on, I think I started watching it Melbourne? Hell, I can't remember anymore. When you move as often as we do, you forget where you were when you saw things - or else you remember when you saw things by what city you were living in at the time!

To daughter: When did we see Hairspray?
Daughter: Umm, in Virginia?
Me: No, can't be. Wasn't it in Melbourne?
Daughter: Well, when did it come out?
Son (checking the TV): 2007
Me and daughter: Shit (yes, we both said it), we were in Las Vegas.
Me: I don't remember it there! Well, what about "insert random movie name*? That was Vegas, too, yeah?
Daughter: No, that was Boston.

Standard conversation about timelines! But anyway, yeah, buy the DVD's. I've still to pick them up, but they are on my to-buy list before I leave the US again at the end of the year.

As for TW4, it could be quite a while before you see it, what with it being paired with Starz, which is a premium channel. Do you get programmes like The Tudors? If you are only getting that now, then you might not see it for at least a year, unless TVNZ has made an agreement with the BBC and Starz, which is unlikely. Parsimonious bastards that they are.

Yes we've had the Tudors. 2 seasons I think.

We haven't moved a lot, but it's which holiday is what that gets us playing the memory association game :-)
