Mad trip day 23: Canberra to Thredbo

Got a lie-in at MissWinterhill's, then got packed up and she came to collect me and take me in to town. I found my way to the YHA for the pick up and had lunch there, then went back to the shopping centre to get batteries. Got very lost, but still made it back to the YHA before the bus was due. It turned up very late because the driver had had to do a run to meet an ambulance with one of the passengers.

We went to Parliament House first, via a tour of the embassies, and got the official tour of the houses. From there we had a long drive out to the Snowy Mountains to Thredbo, where we got there just in time for dinner and I drank an awful lot of Schnapps - 8 shots in total, and I only paid for 4.
