Today was another crazy, hectic day. We slept in later than intended, but still got out plenty early. Our first stop was the Capital Exhibition, which has some really interesting displays about the history of Canberra and how it was designed and built. Canberra is an awesome designed city, more so than Sydney or Melbourne, and it actually worked, unlike Brasilia (this is GCSE Geography talking, so I apologise if I've been misled).

From the Capital Exhibition we were just in time to get to the Bus Depot Markets, where we bought pretty jewellery and beef jerky and vinegar. The markets are really excellent, with almost anything you could want to buy. I also got a chicken skewer for lunch, which was nommy, and tried lots of different cheeses, and we got cupcakes that promptly fell over.

After the markets we went to look around parliament house and bought awesome recipe books, then we had a look at the outside of the war memorial, because it was closed, and stumbled across Torchwood doing some testing or something (it probably wasn't them, but it was in our minds). Last stop on the tour was the top of the hill for the lookout over Canberra. It's really clear from up there how planned Canberra is, and I felt a very, very long way from home.

Then we went back home for dinner and to watch the last episode of Sherlock, and then to bed.
