Mad Trip Day 19: Sydney to Canberra

I had to check out of the hostel by 10 in the morning, but didn't need to catch a bus until half past 12, so I flopped in the common room with my laptop whilst I waited. I also got to talk to the guy who calls me Elpheba - who is called Kia - and say goodbye before I left.

I got to the bus stop with a few minutes to go, having got lost, and found that we had assigned seats. Once we got out of Sydney, I pretty much went to sleep, as usual. I did wake up for a while and saw the lake, which had a surprising amount of water in it.

We got into Canberra later than expected, which was strange as we got out of Sydney earlier than expected. misswinterhill was there waiting for me already. She picked me up and took me home via Aldi, where I bought cake and mince pies and cola, and then we went back to her house and she cooked dinner and we talked and chatted for hours.
