6 – When you write, do you prefer writing male or female characters?
Most of my main characters are male, because they're the characters who grabbed my interest in the show or book. Sherlock is infinitely more interesting than... anyone, ever, quite frankly and Jack and Ianto are more interesting than Tosh (sorry darling, I do love you, but you're just not fucked up enough). When it comes to making my own characters, though, they're almost all female. The two stories I have with male main characters were Torchwood fanfictions that morphed, but they both have key female characters. When I play computer games I choose female characters, when I need an outside POV I create a female OC, and when I watch a show I watch it through the female characters. It's just a shame that the fanfiction I write is about shows with male main characters (and Gwen, but she broke me before I started writing Torchwood fanfiction).
7 – Have you ever had a fic change your opinion of a character?
