And I really suck at putting in the formatting things if I don't do them at the start. Things like, you know, lj cuts or the title
1. Make a list of 5 things that you can see without getting up.
My dinner
My Lord of the Rings cup
Part of my collection fo Doctor Who and Torchwood mugs
One of my computers
A selection of post-it notes with Captchas on them that I have stolen to use as alien races in the future.
2. How do you style your hair?
I stick a bandana over it, or tie it into a really tight bun, held up either on its own or by a chjopstick, pencil or (radical, I know) a hairpin. I also have a more complicated hairpin, but I've not quite figured that one out yet.
3. What are you wearing now?
Pink fluffy pyjamas, a white fluffy dressing gown and white fluffy slippers.
4. What's the one thing you would like to change about your looks?
I want to get my hair dyed the same colour as Amy Pond's. Red is a good look on me, but it's faded from purple at the moment.
5. What do you hear right now?
My computer grumbling. Must do something about that...
Now it's Roy Bailey singing Captain Swing.
6. Who was the last person you hugged?
I don't actually remember. Probably my mum.
7. What is/was for dinner?
Spicy chicken wrap (yay leftovers) and a white hot chocolate (already consumed)
8. What is your favourite beauty product/toiletry item?
My vanilla bath stuff. I love the smell of vanilla, but I've left it in Halifax :(
9. Dog person or cat person?
Cat person, utterly.
10. If you had to change your name, what would you change it to?
Josephine Alexandra. Alexandra is my middle name, but Joseph/Josephine is the other family name on my maternal graddad's side.
11. What was the last thing that you bought?
Two pints of milk, a couple of pasties and a paper.
12. If you could afford to go anywhere in the world, where would you go?
Back to Queensland, I think. I want to spend more time in Cairns, go out to the reef, spend more time in the Atherton Tablelands, see
littleni again and
remuslives23 and
miss_bekahrose for the firt time... I did love Queensland.
13. Favourite band/musician?
This is tough. It's a tossup between The Demon Barbers, Oyster Band and Blackbeard's Tea Party for folk rock band, but then there's the Northern Kings and The Hooters and, of course, the wonderful, gorgeous and impossible-to-find-decent-videos-of John Barrowman. But do I really need to locate a video for you lot to know what he sounds like?
14. Favourite book?
The Guards Trilogy by Terry Pratchett - it's three of my favourite novels in one books, and therefore it counts. I love Pratchett.
15. Of the shows you watch, what is your favorite and what is your least favorite?
My favourite show is Top Gear, and has been since I was about 14. I really get the humour, possibly becaus I've had that very particular British upbringing. But if no one else got it, it wouldn't be so popular. I think that people often fail to get the joke when it's at their expense, but realise when it's at anyone else's expense that it's not malicious.
17. Where did number 16 go?
Canoodling with Jack Harkness.
18. How are you?
Yired. Little bit headachey. Very cold because our boiler's broken and there's frost outside.
19. What are you doing tomorrow?
I have a lecture at 5.30, so I'll spend the morning writing, I hope, and then trudge into town.
20. What are you looking forward to the most?
My trip to Cardiff over Easter.
