Totally with you on the Barrowman incident. What she did wasn't that rude, he's a big boy and he can cope with it. But she was already quite well known for what she was doing, and she became a figurehead for it for both sides.
And yeah, she was 16, and she is absolutely lovely. I met her at one of the Hubs and we chatted for a while, and she's so sweet. But she's passionate about something that people think she shouldn't be passionate about, so they don't care.
