Advent 2020 plans

December has rolled around at last, and I have a thrilling plan for it. It involves two advent calendars and a whole lot of books.



First advent calendar: Organic Christmas Teas from the English Tea Shop:


Second advent calendar: Airwick Scented Candles:


And my to-read pile (which I do not expect to clear):


Day 1 - Moroccan Spice, Winter Wonderland (I think) and Raffles by E.W. Hornung.

It's so many books! I think we had 10 of them at the start of this year, the rest I've acquired over the course of the year. And that was during a book buying freeze!

I've got so many myself I'm trying to read and get rid of some, and yet somehow I've bought several more... Books are like that, way too tempting!

I do not give books away. Ever. I do occasionally buy books "for my mum" so they can go on her bookcase instead of mine XD

I just ran out of space and as I've been collecting books for half a century I've had to accept I can't keep them all, and I'll never read all I've got. I donate the ones I don't want to keep to charity shops so someone else can read them.

I clear out when I move house, which is pretty often at the moment. I need to convert more of my to-read pile to a read-it pile though.
