Party Time!
I don't get to chat with you all often enough, so this is a chat post. Pull up a chair, grab a plate from the buffet and a drink from the bar and have a natter.
Anyone following the cricket? Are England going to win this one or will the weather force a draw?

Ahm, nope, not following the cricket... Can't get my head around that game at all... I have, however, been doing my nails in multiple colours, and finishing off one of the many shawls I've been knitting recently... Now I'm considering dragging myself upstairs to my little writing corner and having yet another go at my latest episode coda... and failing epically at the whole convincing myself to get up from the sofa...
How's you been?

I've been 'writing' all day, which means I've managed less than a line. I need Jack to take his finger off the bell and Ianto to answer the door.

That writing situation sounds terribly familiar. In my head, there are already five chapters of my next epic planned. On my outline, there are... three lines. Of course, combining that with my bad memory makes for a good recipe for disaster...
*pokes your muses* Does that help?

I have so many outlines of stuff I want to write and so much stuff to finish, but I think my body ahs come to associate writing with lack of sleep and tries to make me avoid it. It's not good.
Cake?

I don't often have much going on, but since I started writing epics, shorter stories tend to accumulate in my "to do" folder...
Which reminds me, I have to read your TW/Sherlock crossover... the idea of Ianto having shared a flat with Sherlock sounds highly entertaining!

I used to be like that, but I always went for the epics and could just keep going. Now I pick things up and put them down and can't gain any momentum. Need to finish off my monster fic so I can get on with other stuff with a clear conscience.

*Blinks*
Right, so, fics... I sort of have that problem as well, I have way too many ideas in my head and can't really get into any of them properly... Maybe we need to organise a regular tea and cakes and writing moment?

I just wanted to drop a line and say that I am working my way through your fics now - I found them via longliveianto. I'm really enjoying them, especially Timelord!Ianto.
I also wanted to ask if it would be alright if I formatted your finished fics (either some or all) for ebook reading and posted it to my dreamwidth account in case others are interested? I've created a little fic-harem for myself and am now in the process of posting them... but I wouldn't do it w/out permission.
Thank you for your consideration :)
