The snow was so good for photos this year. I think I must be the only person out of school who's praying for more snow, because I've missed out on it this year.
York is wonderful, I love it to bits. Gorgeous in any weather.
I've not been to Prague, but apparently I must. My parentals and little brother went to Germany this summer and have brought back gorgeous photos from there too. I see a European tour on my horizon.
I did the European tour thing last summer, and I have to say, it was a blast. :D And here's what I thought of when I saw those first pictures of yours--it's crazy how similar Prague looks! (To me, anyway. ^_~ And hopefully that pic shows up, it's a link to my FB.)
I'd totally add you on there too, but for some reason there's no 'add as a friend' option for me? (That I could find.) I 'liked' you though, lol. :D *is totally not up with all the inner workings of FB* @_@
You may have found my fanfiction page, which is used for hiding my regular fanfiction postings from my mother. I'll hunt you down, once Facebook lets me in...
These bring back happy memories of trip to York, both with school and with family, especially the ones of the wall - that's exactly how it looks in my memories!
Also love the dandelion clocks! And the little ramshackle barm in the meadow =)
I've been to York so many times with my family over the years, but living here was a total fluke, it hadn't even crossed my mind except as a reserve for a course that wasn't very good but I was interested in. Course turned out to be fantastic, sent me to Australia and I've been able to live in York - best thing that ever happened to me, possibly.
I have always wished to live somewhere naturally beautiful. I just have to make do with living through others. I can't wait for Nick to get to Plymouth--can't wait to go see him, cannot WAIT to rent a car and head north! I will even drive C roads if I have to. (eek!) Beautiful! LOVE the kitty in the bird feeder, and the puffy dandelions (if that is what they are, second to bottom picture?). Gorgeous. Yes, you are fortunate to live there, very much so.
Would you believe tomorrow morning? AHH! He has an early flight to London, will hang out there a couple of days and get some shows--he does this often and loves it--then head for Plymouth. :)
I am very much hoping that we'll be able to manage it in October. I worked out an itinerary for a month-long trip, which included three nights in York. Plus fandom meetups in both Cardiff and London. :D
I love the dandelion picture especially. And oh, York, so gorgeous, such amazing street theatre - I went there for my birthday last year, it took two hours to drive there. And we live in the same county. Incredible, huh?
York is totally lovely, but annoyingly far away. I've done the drive over there from Calderdale twice already since I got back from Australia, and it's happening again this weekend.
Well, I say that I've done the drive, my mother drove. I fell asleep in the passenger seat.

(Have you ever been to Prague? Those first few pictures really remind me of the big castle in the middle of the city there. *__*)
And your cat is adorable. :)

And what a pretty kitty!

And she is pretty, but she's also smug and a little bit wicked. And liked blueberry muffins. But looking like that, we'll forgive her anything.

Cat is very cute, very intelligent and a little bit smug. She is the Ianto Jones of the feline world, except angst just rolls off her unnoticed.
