Timing - I suck at it

I have PCOS, which means that it's perfectly normal for me to skip a period. I get an intense abdominal pain that feels like I've ruptured my appendix that has me crying for a couple of hours, and then nothing. I think I've had three periods since I came to Australia six months ago. I was due when I started my East coast trip, but it held off...

Until today. I have a 21 hour flight the day after tomorrow, and full on period pain, which usually lasts about three days before it fades. Why?

Do excuse me. I was going to write about my plans for this year, but I'm going to curl up, hug a warm laptop and sulk instead.

BB, I quite literally feel your pain. *hugs*

Suck up a little liquid pain relief on the flight (at least across the Pacific where it's still free).

Ahhh Quantas alcomahol :D I was on rum and coke, which helped with the jetlag I think ;)

So should have done that myself - I'm still suffering the jetlag a week after arriving in Las Vegas. Waking at midday because that's about the time to wake in Melbourne. Wanting to go to bed around 3am, because that's closer to bedtime in Melbourne. It'll be even worse in VA if I don't get my clock sorted :/

I recommend staying up for 48 hours three times in a fortnight, then getting a very bad head cold. You'll sleep longer than sleeping beauty and wake up forgetting everything that's happened over the past few days.

Which is why I'm doing my replies now.

Sounds horrible. Get well soon.

*Hugs* I can't work out whether the 3 days of cramps or the 3 hours of agony are worse :/ At least they bugger off eventually. And then come back

*Huge hugs* I have PCOS, too, so I know the feeling. And it leads to all SORTS of other complications. And I love when people are all, "You don't keep track? How do you not know?"

Feel better, hun! I completely understand!

*So late at replying*
Yeah, it's such a pain in the ass... except when it means that you just skip them completely, in which case it seems like a good investment.
