North of England Torchwood Come Dine With Me

I would like to propose a dinner group for Torchwood fans to get together. I know there's quite a lot of us up here, so I'm wondering if anyone would be interested in doing Come Dine With Me style meet-ups where we take it in turns to entertain.

If you're interested, state your location and the number you can entertain.

I am in York, and I can entertain up to six in total.

Me, organise? I dont' think that would work. First person to be three minutes late would be placed on washing up duty... LOL

We should do something like that, book a place for a largeish group and just watch good tv shows and cook food and drink homemade coctails.... That sounds good :)

I have been considering booking out the castle where they filmed Torchwood House, but it's crazy expensive. Doing something self-catered would be the best thing ever.

Yeah, self catering would be cheaper, and could be fun. Still, it'd be great to have a proper dinner night, with dressing up and everything... *wants an excuse to dress up* LOL

We could dress up anyway :D The castle would have been about £200 per person for a full weekend, including all meals. Ouch levels of expensive.

Well, two nights of hotel in London are about that much, even without meals, so... £200 is ouch levels of expense, but I've had worse...:-)

Or we could get 2 nights at a YHA in Pembrokeshire for £529 between 28 people. But we would need the numbers to make it worth it.
