Mad Trip Day 24: Thredbo to Lakes Entrance

We started the day with breakfast, far too early; especially for Liz, who only got in at 4. After breakfast we piled into the van and headed down to the ski lift, which we got up the mountain as far as we could. I decided not to go on the walk to the lake because the clouds were to thick and showed no signs of shifting, so I took the nature trail down to the village instead. Lovely, but slightly dull walk.

After the village we went to the nearest town to do some shopping for lunch, then we went on to Lake's Entrance via this terrifying but lovely old cattle track. We got to look at gorgeous views and play with gorgeous dogs.

At Lake's Entrance we had a fish and chip dinner with the other bus, then went to the beach for a bit - I got wet - and then back to the hostel and to bed.
