Works in Progress
So I'm finally feeling like writing again, hence my sudden reappearance on DreamWidth. Whilst I'm in the mood I've treated myself to a new laptop, a dinky little Cloudbook that I can use on the train and at work. Fingers crossed it will see me through 50k of NaNo as well as my uni work.
With that in mind, I've dug through my ongoing and barely started projects and lined up:
A Feet Finding Mission: A Torchwood/Class crossover (if you haven't seen Class, watch it on Netflix, if you haven't seen Torchwood then what are you even doing here? Nice to meet you, though) with time travel and investigation and Stuff. I've had this one on ice for so long I can barely remember what's going on myself, so we'll try to fix that.
The Crumple Zone Is My Heart: A Shadowhunters AU where Alec is a werewolf already in a relationship with Magnus and friends with Clary at the start of the series. He's also a police officer training for his Sergeants' exam, and really doesn't need the world to end right now.
The Tale of the Linnet: My Inquisitor Trevelyan's backstory, exploring how a woman that spunky and determined spent the tumultuous decade leading up to the Conclave. There's going to be a lot of parties, some stabbing, pretty gowns, dragon-skin boots, and excessively intricate discussions of shipping routes. Probably.
The Brides Wore A Rainbow: This is my NaNoWriMo project for this year. A Mills and Boon style romance between a wedding planner and the sister of one of her clients. I won't be sharing this as I go because I will be trying to polish it up for submissions. Fingers crossed I can get it finished, for a start.
