China's lovely-- I went there in 2010 on a fortnight's study tour. I can highly recommend Guilin, if you're heading into the south-- I'm assuming you'll be doing Beijing & Shanghai already. ::g:: Xi'an is amazing as well, though I found it hard to breathe there as it's very very still, so pollution just sort of hangs there.
